At Our Lady of Lourdes RC Primary School, pupils are taught that each child is a child of God and that we are brothers and sisters in Christ. We believe that each child has unique gifts and contributions to make. Our R.E curriculum is intended to recognise, nurture and develop these gifts, talents and abilities as part of a broad and balanced curriculum.
Our Lady of Lourdes offers children a broad and challenging R.E curriculum which offers all children opportunities to learn and reflect. Our pupils will be encouraged to embrace their curiosity and foster a culture of life-long learning. We follow the ‘Come and See’ scheme of work, as recommended by Salford Diocese.
Christ is at the centre of our curriculum and, to this end, we promote and foster opportunities for R.E to be taught across all curriculum areas. We teach the wonder and beauty of God’s creation in Science, Geography, Literacy and Maths etc.
